In this assignment, I was tasked to design a zine about an ecological problem. I love bees, so I designed a zine about bees. I used Procreate to hand draw the graphics and then used a combination of Adobe Illustrator and InDesign to design the typography and the zine spread. I am also the author of the zine.

Global Warming

In this assignment, I was tasked to design a poster about an ecological problem (different from our zines). Another ecological disaster I am passionate about is global warming and its effect on polar bears. I used a combination of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to design the poster and artistically edit the stock photo. I wanted to do a simple design, emphasizing the emptiness through the white space. I also drew inspiration from National Geographic.
Arabian Nights Stamps

In this assignment, I was tasked to design a set of stamps about a culture that was important to us. I chose to base my stamps on Saudi Arabia, as my mother lived there for 4 years and my stepdad still lives there. I used a combination of Adobe Illustrator and Procreate to design the stamps and stamp sheet.
Book Cover Redesign
GRA 310: Graphic Design 2

In this assignment, I was tasked to redesign a series of 3 books. I chose to redesign my mom's favorite book series, and selected three books out of the 22+ books in the series. I used Procreate to design the graphic illustrations and Adobe Illustrator to design the book cover spreads. I wanted to do a simple design with a limited color pallet that played off of contrasting colors.
Math & Statistics Department Posters
GRA 310: Graphic Design 2

In this assignment, I was tasked to design a trifold poster for the math and statistics department at Mercer University. I based my design on typographical and color theory relating to how viewers react to type and color. Studies show that blue expresses professionalism and technology feeling for the user. The department also wanted a simple poster that was still eye-catching. I used Adobe Illustrator for the graphical illustrations and Indesign to design the poster spreads.
